What is Eclectic Well-Being?
Who are Mark & Kathi?
Mark and Kathi created Eclectic Well-Being to help stressed-out breadwinners who feel they have no time to do anything for themselves, let go of feelings of overwhelm and anxiety, by putting themselves first so that they can spend quality time with the people they love, doing the things they love, and experiencing their bucket list activities while they still can, instead of waiting for some future “perfect” time. Gaining more health, more joy, and more abundance in the process.
Kathi was a NY City executive for years, working at a job she didn’t feel passionate about, and eventually grew to despise, feeling overwhelmed being a breadwinner with the family depending on her. Mark was running his own IT company while raising the kids at home and being a parent of teenagers almost instantly. His way of dealing with the stress was by consuming entirely too much alcohol and eating very unhealthy but comforting food.
There was a lot of arguing, yelling, and screaming, yet they persisted “for the good of the children.”
What they didn’t realize, was the impact their actions were having on their children. Now that the kids are grown, they can clearly see that some of their struggles can be traced back to their upbringing.
Becoming more aware of their stress and looking for a way to bring calm into their chaotic lives, Kathi and Mark finally found Yoga. This has led to coaching and discovering mindset tools to change their behaviors, including living a healthier lifestyle; eating better, moving, getting outside, and experiencing their bucket list activities now rather than waiting.
They discovered that when they cared for themselves, they were able to be more present and supportive of the children. If they knew then what they know now, they would have raised the kids much differently.
Now they help people experiencing these same pressures to handle them in a more positive manner. Together they provide solutions that focus on Mindset, Health, and Community; incorporating nutrition, movement, mindfulness, tools to alleviate repetitive negative self-talk, and connection to community. They help their clients unlock new levels of happiness and vitality by consciously creating the life, health, and body they love.
