Join Us For A Hiking Adventure!
Once a season, we get out in nature. We go on a Mindful Hike. Some times, this is a 2-mile hike with meditation and mindful practices, and other hikes will be longer, moderate or more difficult, practicing mindfulness by watching our steps, focusing on our breath and noticing the beauty that surrounds us. Whatever the terrain, we will let you know what to expect before you sign up!

We all need to move our bodies! Our bodies need exercise to stay healthy and take us into our later years! And yet, only 25% of adults in America get enough exercise!
Hiking is a great way to get that much needed exercise! It's good for heart health, especially those with an incline. And no worries, we take our hikes at a pace where pretty much everyone can join! It's not a race. We let the group lead the pace. It also builds bones and muscles as well as helps with balance.
If you have trouble sleeping, hiking can help with that as well! It's not only the physical activity, it's the fresh air and the mental activity of navigating trails and watching your steps as the earth is uneven and it requires a bit more mindfulness than walking on a track or treadmill.
And one of the best reasons we hike is to connect with nature and others! The best conversations happen on a trail! You notice things that normally you'd pass right by. You engage your senses. You gain a sense of belonging and community!
