So, it turns out I CAN meditate, I just needed to find the kind of meditation that works for me. I always assumed you had to be in a very zen space, sitting still with a silent mind. Kathi taught us that this is not the case. At first I found it very difficult to focus but as the weeks went by Kathi encouraged us not to put pressure on ourselves, to take small steps and to just continue to try. It was on the fourth week that I found the meditation that works for me.
