Yoga Nidra is a systematic process that brings the mind to a state of full relaxation, without actually sleeping. It is where we learn to relax consciously.
In other meditation practices, we use effort to heighten and expand our consciousness.
In Yoga Nidra, there is no work, no effort. Here we allow our relaxed state to work with our subconsciousness and continue to change our neuro connections in the brain and expand the container of consciousness.
This process turns us inward. Allows the mind to follow point to point as guided by a voice. We systematically bring the mind to a profound state of receptive relaxation. One where we identify more of our true Self.
